Habitat for Humanity: Sept 2022 Project Site
Categories
On 10 September 2022, join the council in helping our local Habitat for Humanity build a 6′ X 12′ deck. Come out and help install the joists, construct 3-4 steps, and screw down deck boards, all under the tutelage of a Class A Contractor. While we are onsite, our volunteers will begin removing an old privacy fence, and possibly installing a new fence.
Both projects are achievable in a day. We will need about 6 volunteers to work on the deck and all other volunteers will begin working the fence project.
The Habitat for Humanity work site is located in the Deep Creek area. You’ll take the first exit after the I-64 High Rise bridge and head to 217 Diamond Ave, Chesapeake, VA.
The time is from 8:30am – 2:00pm
